Baymont by Wyndham Amarillo East

"Me and my family booked 2 rooms ( a Standard King and a King suite) for a one night stay here en route to Zion National park. We ended up staying 2 nights because it was such good value for money. We got clean rooms with clean sheets and towels, and ample toiletries. The staff were all super nice, and breakfast was good. On our return trip, we stayed a night here again. We honestly have no complaints. A point worth mentioning: I forgot to take my dog’s bed when we left on our outbound trip. I called the hotel and informed them about it, not really expecting a positive outcome, but 10 days later when we arrived on our return trip, the dog bed was handed to us washed and wrapped in plastic! I was beyond grateful and overwhelmed at the efficiency and thoughtfulness of the staff. The management and staff here are doing a good job! I would definitely stay here again. Hints: Affordable dog fee. Though the dog friendly rooms are at the back, we found those rooms slightly better, and more convenient to access dog walk areas. Coffee in the room is better than in the lobby. A friendly suggestion: Maybe the beds could be lower as we’re senior people and not tall, Getting on and off necessitated a little jump which could be risky, besides being inconvenient. Bed itself was comfortable."

I wish all of them had front desk personnel like Katie here at this Baymont! The place was safe, pet friendly, the room was clean, and includes a free hot breakfast."

"I have stayed here several times. The front desk staff have always been extremely courteous and helpful-it’s almost as though the management goes out of their way to choose friendly people. Breakfast is very good, hot and cold items are plentiful. Yes the physical structure is dated, but everything has been clean, all amenities you are used to are present, and the towels are super luxurious."
