"I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my recent stay at this hotel. The property itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained, but what truly stood out was the Engineering team. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the hotel takes pride in keeping everything in perfect working order. The Engineering department deserves special recognition every interaction I had with them was professional, friendly, and efficient. When I needed assistance with a minor issue in my room, they responded immediately and had it fixed within minutes. They not only solved the problem, but took the time to ensure everything else in the room was functioning perfectly as well. It’s rare to find a team working so seamlessly behind the scenes, ensuring guests have a comfortable and stress-free stay. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and preventative upkeep throughout the hotel really reflects the pride the Engineering staff takes in their work. Thank you to the Engineering team for going above and beyond you are a huge part of what makes this hotel stand out. I will definitely be returning and recommending this property to others."

"The hotel has a great location right next to the Amtrak train station and local bus system. Extremely easy to get to from Chicago and enjoy the city without a car. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with comfortable beds and a great view. The onsite amenities are great and the nearby neighborhood has a plethora of dining options and cool local businesses. Despite some initial issues with quality of service, management was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to fix our complaints and make sure our stay was a great family vacation with my wife and daughter. Will be sure to stay here again due to the unbeatable location next to Amtrak, great customer service, and luxurious rooms and hotel amenities"

"I hate to leave less than 5-stars since it was a great event and almost everything was perfect. Unfortunately, when I took my shower (which was cold) the water was not draining so I lifted up the stainless steel rectangle to find that the drain was almost completely clogged with other-peoples hair (I have almost none). I pushed the hair aside with the cover and everything drained perfectly. I told the front desk and I presume they'll look into it but it seems to be a reoccurring problem based on the reviews. The toilet was loose plus I'm not sure if it was cleaned before I checked in as the lid was up and the paper was not folded into a triangle. Oh, nice vinyl floors but they were dirty. So with the exception of some housekeeping items, it was a great stay."
