"We chose the channel Road in to stay at honor our recent PCH road trip for our LA stop and I personally think the location was perfect away from all the LA craziness but convenient to get around. But most of all the in was beautiful full of character very clean especially considering how old it is and we met so many amazing people here Taras runs such an amazing establishment and we will definitely be staying here again. I’m about to call and ask for the recipe to their breakfast egg dish because it was so good and different from any other breakfast you’ll find at hotels in America Anyways, the whole family loved it nothing but good things to say about it!"

"Absolutely incredible stay. The location can’t be beat — 5 min walk to the beach, amazing food and coffee right next door. The amenities were well thought out and impeccable. The little touches — the smell of fresh baked goods wafting up to your room every afternoon, the delicious breakfast every morning, the fully stocked tea station with everything you could ask for. Beautiful house that’s extremely well taken care of. The flower gardens and trees that surround the property. The outdoor breakfast patio where you can catch morning sun as you sip a bevvy. The fireplace, the quiet nooks for reading or relaxing or (if it’s unavoidable during vacation) getting some work done. The staff was incredible and everything was so well orchestrated. It’s got a home feel to it & beats any hotel experience. There’s a personal touch in every aspect of this B&B. It enhances your trip and makes you never want to leave. I can’t wait to come back!!"

"I recently returned from some time out at sea. While I never experience sea sickness, I occasionally feel a bit "land-sick" after days of rocking on the water. This hotel was the perfect retreat for my situation, as it offered a calm and welcoming environment while the land seemed to sway beneath me. Check-in was a breeze, and while they offer a convenient tech-based option (which I didn’t use), the traditional process was smooth and efficient. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. One of the highlights of the location is its proximity to everything you might need. As someone who enjoys walking, I appreciated that downtown Santa Monica was just a short 1.5-mile stroll away. The scenic journey along the beach made it all the more enjoyable, blending relaxation with a bit of exercise. During my stay, I took full advantage of the amenities, including a delightful happy hour, the nearby beach, and a lovely breakfast to start my day. The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Santa Monica, offering a peaceful escape while still being close to the action. Though the sensation of swaying never quite left me, I took it as a sign that the ocean was calling me back. If you're considering staying here, I can confidently say it was a wonderful experience, and I hope your visit will be just as memorable."

"My husband and I had a lovely time here for our anniversary. The staff were all gracious and helpful. The breakfast offerings were exceptional; especially enjoyed the souffles and great coffee. Slept well on a very comfortable bed. The setting: surrounded by trees and flowering shrubs, with bird song made it most relaxing. Great location ."
