Chicago Marriott Midway

"Was stuck at Midway airport last weekend due to weather and stayed overnight - along with so many other passengers. The person (woman) managing the bar and restaurant was working mostly solo (and had one other person trying to help). She was amazing considering there was a full bar & full restaurant of people! Fantastic service and ability to maintain calm in the midst of chaos! She turned our bad day at the airport into a calm and restful evening. Everyone there actually gave her a round of applause! We left a good tip and hopefully others did as well. Beyond this, she should be acknowledged and rewarded by the Marriott management team! Thank you!"

"My line of work requires me to travel and I spend about 12 nights every month in hotels, with frequent visits to Chicago. This is by far the best hotel in the Midway airport area. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the vicinity and this Mariott has the cleanest rooms with a modern appearance, and friendly people at reception. Angela B and Neithan M were helpful and attentive while checking me in, and faciliated a pleasant stay while I was here for work. It makes a big difference when the folks at reception are welcoming, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a convenient location and comfortable stay in Midway."

"Well, I’m a Marriott girl and always will be. Stayed here to be close to airport for a 6 am flight which meant I would need to be up at 3 to get everyone going. I guess protestors showed up around 9:30 and were making their voices heard. Even dispute that I would still go back again. I know it’s not the fault of the staff at Marriott. At some point they pushed the crowd away from the entrance and I was able to fall asleep. The room was very cozy and clean. Bathroom large. Very nice room!"
