"This hotel was amazing. I took a solo trip to Chicago and I’m so glad I decided on this hotel. The rooms were very clean, and smelled really nice. They typically clean every three days but you can easily request more frequent cleaning if you’d like using the iPad provided which I thought was such a neat feature. Honestly this is the most high tech room I’ve ever stayed in. The iPad on the side of the bed controlled pretty much all aspects of the room without you having to move. The day/night blinds, the room lights (which can be dimmed/ can be changed to a certain color in the shower area), you can control the temp, and even cast things from your phone onto the TV. Even the little books they had in the room were interesting for reading. The view from the window was nice, the bed was big and comfortable and I love that it was right up against the window of the room. I felt it was a good use of space. The room truly didn’t feel so small. The check in process was easy and the staff is really friendly and kind. They remembered me and always spoke to me. I felt very safe even though I was by myself. Also the location is PERFECT. You can literally walk to all the main attractions or to a subway line / bus stop with ease. I was able to easily explore various Chicago neighborhoods because of this hotels proximity to public transportation stops. all in all 10/10 experience and I really hope I get to come back soon."

"For the price AND location, this is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’m a fan of JW Marriotts and Renaissance hotels, but CitizenM has deserved to be discussed among those ranks. I 100% will be staying here again. The rooms are absolutely stunning (especially for the price)! I am so excited to return. If you use washcloths, bring your own."

"Second citizen m I’ve stayed in. The rooms are tiny but clean and full of tech. It’s a bit gimmicky but it’s fun to use the iPad and have the mood lighting. Love the big window. It’s like a super elevated hostel. The location is pretty central. Another guest in the elevator said this location’s gym was actually pretty good. I never use hotel gyms but it sounded like she’d been to lots of other citizen m locations and was impressed. My main complaint is no fridge/microwave in the room. It was fine since we just were there one night but generally I like that amenity."

"Loved this hotel. First time in Chicago with my girlfriend and this hotel has the best location. We stayed here 3 days and never took an uber or taxi. We walked the entire city thanks to the hotel location. Rooms are perfect; comfy, modern and we loved the iPad thing. Rooms have an iPad to control lighting, tv, curtains etc. Absolutely loved this place. Next time I come to Chicago I’m staying here again and hopefully with more of my family."
