The staff are warm and inviting. Comfy wine reception from 5-6pm. Cal's bar in the lobby that serves delicious fresh juices. Cool neighborhood with many walkable bars and restaurants. Pleasant stay!"

And they were very responsive when I texted them with questions. Cal’s was great for a quick bite to eat (with Vegan options) or a drink before turning in. Loved the wine and popcorn hour. Neighborhood was adorable! Butch McQuires was a favorite bar/restaurant for us. Walgreens within walking distance. Ubers within 2 minutes."

We were able to walk to Lincoln park and they were plenty of other dogs around and many of the coffee shops let us come inside to get coffee. The rooms are super nice and the lobby was super cozy. When booking I didn’t pay attention to the destination fee but this is pretty standard across Hilton and Marriott so just make sure you use it on coffee in the morning in the lobby :) Parking wise, if you don’t need in and out privileges you can go on SpotHero and find one within a five minute walk for 20 bucks overnight"

He really made me and all of the friendly other hotel people I met; experience the best time it was a hoot all 5 days! we even extended our stay just to see Issac again and because of the atmosphere he created. We almost did not extend our stay at this hotel because the front desk and other bartenders were extremely rude during our stay, but it was worth ignoring them and to stay because we had so much fun at the bar with Isaac, he needs a raise because if it wasn’t for him, we were thinking about calling Hilton to complain about this hotel. That’s how bad the staff‘s attitude was. This location was so great and the hotel was great, I liked that it had so many Christmas attractions and Christmas bars within walking distance."

Hotel itself is obviously a historic hotel and is showing its age somewhat with some carpeting and such quite tarnished. However hygiene and service wise everything was perfect. I can tell they are making a great effort yo renovate the hotel in an effort to carrying it to a new millenium. Staying here as last part of my Chicago stay and really enjoying it so far."
