I arrived around 11am just to drop off my luggage, but the concierge kindly let me know a room was already available. I’m not sure if that was due to my marriott status through amex, but either way, it was such a nice surprise! The concierge was wonderful, although the destination fee included tickets to the Grammy museum (which was closed on Tuesday), she thoughtfully offered me a booklet from the museum instead. Super sweet gesture :) The location was convenient for both Universal studios, the Getty and Dodger stadium. We also used the gym, which was spacious and well maintained. The room itself exceeded expectations, larger and nicer than what I had seen online, with a stylish interior. Overall we had a great stay in LA and I’m sure we’ll be back at this hotel again!"

That said, I found a public lot literally across the street for $40, which worked out great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent just a short walk to the metro station and even closer to LA Live. Our stay included breakfast, and the breakfast burritos were actually pretty good! The morning restaurant crew was super friendly and took the time to explain everything that was included with our free breakfast, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!"

Clean, good TV, workers were nice and helpful. Pool looked great. Parking is extravagant at $62 and the charge a "parking tax" so add 10% on to that. I thought that was a bit much. Even worse, the bar closes at 10pm. I guess they are very conservative here and don't want anyone hanging out drinking. Luckily the snack bar has a couple of beers and wine, but still. Have to knock off a star for that."
