The Deluxe Inn is a time capsule, and that's exactly why we chose to stay here. This isn’t a chain hotel with a continental breakfast and a pool. It’s a slice of Route 66 history, right in the heart of one of the most iconic towns on the road. The rooms are simple, spotless, and surprisingly comfortable — the bed gave us a great night’s sleep, and everything was impeccably clean. You can tell the owners care deeply about this place. Yes, it’s “no frills” — but that’s what makes it so special. You’re not paying for extras you won’t use. You’re paying for location, nostalgia, and the rare feeling of stepping back into a slower, more genuine time. From the neon signs outside to the friendly check-in, everything about our stay felt authentic. Some of the lower star reviews seem to miss the point. This is not a resort — it’s a road trip stop for people who appreciate history, character, and good old-fashioned hospitality. For us, Deluxe Inn was a highlight of our trip, and we’d stay again in a heartbeat."

Clean, microwave, air, refrigerator, internet and many channels on the TV. Many people probably wouldn't stop here, But we're so glad we did. Route 66 throwback"
