5 months ago"We stayed at the Double J Campground for 4 days. Great place! Well maintained, shaded spots, areas to walk yourself and your dog! Lots to do for kids. We stayed in spot 62 which was a nice location, near the laundry, pool, dog walk and office. I did not check out any of the facilities except the store/office which is well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. We had to load up on propane for our motorhome and that was easily done. They have a full size propane tank on site. Additional parking if you have a boat trailer or similar. Pea like gravel lots and road. My dog did not like this but we survived. You can hear the interstate noise but it did not bother me. Great location, about 15 minutes from downtown Springfield."

6 months ago"Extremely nice campground. Very well maintained. Employees are friendly and helpful. Campsites are roomy and pretty much at a flat level for easy setup. They have fun activities for people to do at any age. We will definitely be back again."

6 months ago"The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful during our stay. Our tow vehicle (truck) quit in front of the office and went above and beyond to help us resolve the issue. Others campers also helped us while our truck was being fixed. Wonderful experience, super people, cool comfortable pool, large level sites, great amenities especially for dog owners, nice clean bathroom and showers."

6 months ago"We LOVED our stay at Double J! The property was so clean and beautifully maintained, with spacious sites and lots of extra amenities. There’s a pool, put-out golf, mini kart course, a nice playground, volley ball, basketball, a huge dog park and a shockingly nice nature trail where we saw rabbits, hawks, frogs and a deer. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the entire property was full of thoughtful extras, like signs with directions and info for the nearest ER, checklists as you leave the parking lot etc. We can’t wait to stay here again!"
