"Fun stop. $5 free play and after you get 10 points you get a $20 food credit. Buffet wasn't great but it was free so can't complain too much. Staff was helpful and nice. Decent amount of machines and was able to play on a hundred bucks for an hour or so, so that's a plus!!"

"We had the pleasure of meeting the amazing Chef Sterling! He came to DownStream from Las Vegas! (Lots of stories there!) He is an absolute jewel, experienced chef with the most amazing menu. I love steak and chef Sterling cooks it on an open wood flame grill! The best steak I have ever had! My husband enjoyed a bone in pork chop that was tender and juicy! We love that he came to the dining room and talked with us. Making us everything was to our satisfaction! It also speaks volumes when the wait staff speaks so highly of him! They all adore him! It is a totally newly designed restaurant! The ambiance is perfect! And the staff has been professionally trained! We enjoyed a perfect evening!"

"Had an amazing experience at Downstream. We stayed there as an overnight stop on our cross country trip back to California. The rooms were wonderful; clean and spacious. The following morning we found ourselves in a bit of a pickle when our rental car wouldn't start after being valeted. Albert Watkins ,the transportation manager was amazing. Keeping us company while we made arrangements and personally ensuring we were taken care of. Can't say enough After arranging transportation to the Enterprise location in Joplin, he even helped me unload our previous rental and reload our new one. Can't say enough positive stuff about our experience. It's one thing to have a great day time when everything goes smoothly but you really see what an organization stands for when things go wrong... I must say it would be great if they had more blackjack tables though........."

"I had a great time while I was there. The slot machines were so friendly to my budget that I stayed an extra day. My one critique is the mattresses, I stayed in two different rooms as I couldn't keep the first room when I stayed an extra night, the matresses are well used, quite lumpy. Overall, it's a great place to stay and have fun. In addition, the staff members are exceptionally accommodating and the hotel/ casino is kept very well. I will be going back."
