a month ago"Rating the chicken spot right inside the doors 5/5. A bit pricey but for good reason. Portions are huge and food is fantastic. The morning cook is really good at his job and the counter person was respectful and helpful too. I think the name is “Thatchickenplace”"

The hotel is old and has that feel but is a good price for the night we stayed (under $100) Ps. Ate the sportsbar in the Casino and was surprised at the quality. Average prices for a Casino. Diane and I had burgers. She got fries that were really good and I had grilled veggies, of which I wish there were more but thoroughly enjoyed them. The burgers were very good. Recommended!"

2 months ago"We stayed from Dec 3,2025 thru Dec 7,2025 and were very pleased. Rooms are spacious and clean. Every staff member we encountered was nice and polite, made our stay more enjoyable. Pool area was nice. Having a train stop right at the hotel going into downtown St Louis is very nice and inexpensive. Restaurants at the casino were decent as well. Parking lots were well lit, maintained and clean as well. Will be booking again for 2026 as soon as we can."
