El Rey Court

"If you want the comforts you expect in a hotel stay but also want to change it up from the ordinary, El Rey is a good place to find that balance (and maybe a little inspiration--my creative block finally started lifting during my stay at El Rey). I stayed here in January. I was with someone, but it would have been a nice place to stay solo, as well. The room was charming, clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a fridge, fireplace, ceiling fan, TV, and kettle and hot plate (this is the coffeemaker). There was also a radio, which was fun. The entire property is retro, quaint, and picturesque. Decor and vibe: think simplicity mixed with universal and timeless symbols like the sun, poker cards, animals that star in fables, spiral staircases, stars, and brick walkways. Pretty brilliant, in all honesty. Love the softer lighting and intricate old wooden doors. It's a lovely blend of convenience and atmosphere. I'm not rhe most social butterfly, but even I couldn't resist the bar. Live music, chill vibes, and strong cocktails Somehow modern yet classic at the same time....like Lana del Rey."

"LA REINA TREATMENT Growing up in New Mexico, I have always been enchanted by this place driving past it more times than you could count. Last night was my first stay and tonight I upgraded to a room with a fireplace. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, someplace cozy with good food and good company come to @elreycourt. I will forever stay here from now on and probably in this exact room. Everyone here has been absolutely lovely from the front desk to security to maintenance to housekeeping and the random strangers at the bar. "We genuinely enjoyed our stay here! The space is stunning, and, ugh, the bar! I won’t soon forget it. There are many intentional details that go into making this place special and they didn’t go unnoticed by our group. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The food truck was delicious, and this little piece of paradise was a perfect intro to our short stay in lovely Santa Fe. Although past reviews had me concerned, our room was clean and beautifully decorated. We would stay again and will recommend this spot to friends!"
