a month ago"We are so grateful this hotel had availability 01/03/26. After stopping at 11 hotels in the area in the middle of the night, all of which had zero availability and some with extremely rude front desk personnel, this hotel saved our night. We had a rough night and a long drive from Colorado. Of which we made a reservation to a closed hotel (unbeknownst to us) in RATON, NM -Holiday Inn Express/Suites RATON. There was a point during our desperate search that I thought my son and I would be sleeping in our car for night. Luckily we tried this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful. He was sympathetic to our unfortunate adventure, and so polite and informative. I know from the reviews this hotel is in need of a renovation and it is old/a little neglected, but when you run out of options at 1am after a long disastrous trip, it’s nice to have a clean bed and a kind person to help your situation. We are grateful for this hotel (old & all) and the kind gentleman who was working the night shift."
