"A great and worthy pit stop for travelers! The location is just right off the highway which makes it so easy to get off and back on in the morning. It’s also located right next to a Buccees, Buffalo Wild Wings and 2 more gas stations so getting any amenities will be of no stress. The hotel itself was nice and quiet as well as clean. Inside the lobby are any snacks or drinks you may need/want so there’s no need to leave anyways. The room was well kept and comfortable. My biggest concern was to leave our car filled with our belongings from traveling inside but the area was safe so no need to worry about that. The free breakfast was yummy and had a good selection to choose from. Definitely recommend this hotel compared to the others in the area!"

"This hotel was a one night stand, but I would definitely stay here again. It is a little odd when you pull into the lot. There are 2 main doors but neither is well marked. You won't find a canopy over the door or a place to park when you check in. However, this is one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed at. I included pictures of what I saw when I went into the room. Maybe they were going to come back and put the filter back in the A/C, close all of the drawers, and the microwave door, and maybe they just wanted to impress me with how thorough they were. Well, it worked. I, who am not easily impressed, am impressed. The carpet makes me feel like I am walking into a motivational seminar, or therapy, depending on how you take it. It was full of phrases like "Believe in Yourself", etc. Personally, I liked it. It was a refreshing change from the usual boring commercial grade carpet that I usually see. The breakfast was decent. Typical hotel stuff. The coffee was good! I had limited interaction with the staff, but all were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"I would like to emphasize the difference it makes to have loving and caring staff at each hotel. I travel a lot for work and every time I visit Amarillo, I choose to stay at this hotel because of the loving, attentive and genuine kindness of Norma and Akyne. They always offer an honest smile, they go above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and have all that I need, and more importantly, they are sweet and beautiful people. I will continue to stay in this hotel because of them, they make me feel appreciated and at home, even though I’m only here 4-5 times a year and more than 1,500 miles away from home. If management has an opportunity to read this message, I hope they find meaningful ways to honor these employees. They are gems and truly deserve the very best! ✨"

"Stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Amarillo Central (right off I-40) and it was a fantastic stop while passing through—definitely 5 stars! The location is perfect for road trippers: super easy access from the interstate, plenty of good parking, and it felt very safe and well-maintained the whole time. When we first arrived, I got a little turned around because the hotel is connected to the Four Points by Sheraton (they share some indoor access and an onsite restaurant), so I accidentally went in the wrong entrance at first. There are separate lobbies for each, but since they're both Marriott properties, it was no big deal—just a quick redirect and we were checked in smoothly. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a day on the road. Breakfast in the morning was a real highlight—fresh, hot, and the standard Fairfield spread hit the spot perfectly. As a bonus, we're just a short drive from The Big Texan Steak Ranch, so we popped over there for dinner one night and had a fun, classic Amarillo experience. Overall, this place delivered everything we wanted for a quick, reliable overnight: great value, convenience, and no major hassles. Highly recommend if you're traveling through the Texas Panhandle!"
