Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites St. Louis Downtown

"What a clean, quiet, classy yet lowkey hotel. I am pleased and impressed! I was losing faith in hotels, in all honesty, having stayed in several recently. St. Louis isn't great IRT allergies, and I have terrible allergies. I had resigned to thinking I had no choice but to suffer horrifically everywhere due to unseen (or, in some cases, seen!) mold, dust mites, leftover pet dander, etc. It turns out those actually *were* just unclean rooms, and my allergy medication and nasal spray *does* work quite a bit, and I can truly relax here; something I have not felt able to do in a very long time. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. We slept like babies after a long train ride. The price point is just wonderful for this space, cleanliness, high ceilings, big televisions, tasteful decor, and splendid view from our room. It feels so *right* to finally get what I am paying for! My family and I were absolutely delighted to have a hotel breakfast containing protein and fiber, rather than simply sugary pastries! The outdoor fireplace is so nice, and the woman who checked us in was kind and understanding. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Traveling from STL back to Austin, Tx Stayed here 12/07 - 12/10 and again on 12/16 Front Desk - Christina is a wonderful and engaging person. She is ALL ABOUT Customer Satisfaction!! So kind, warm and inviting. AWESOME ! Bar : OMG ! Wait till you experience Michelle - once she gets warmed up, it’s never a dull monument. We ended up spending 2 nights at the bar because she was so much fun to visit with. Her Personality is bigger than Dallas! ( that’s a Texas saying :-) ) Overall, this establishment provided a wonderful St. Louis experience. The staff was amazing. Everything went really smooth at this establishment. A truly professional Marriott Experience !!"

"This place is in a great location. You can get to the Enterprise Center, Energizer Field, & all the Aquarium stuff. The bar and breakfast area are so nice and the rooms they are in are so nice. Front clerks are very friendly and nice always making sure you're taking care of. Now to the actual rooms. The bathrooms are roomy and the showers are so big. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are soft. Rooms have a microwave and fridge with plenty of space in the whole room. Would highly recommend staying here because we will be staying again"

"The location of the Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Louis is definitely a strong point, very convenient to downtown, right off the highway, and within walking distance of Union Station. That said, the surrounding area itself is pretty quiet with minimal activity, especially in the evenings. Our stay was mixed overall. While the hotel was comfortable, housekeeping fell short during our visit. The room was not cleaned properly, and even the garbage was not picked up, which was disappointing. Additionally, breakfast options were very limited for vegetarians and there were almost no choices available for vegans. With better attention to cleanliness and more inclusive food options, this could be a much more solid option given the great location."
