Spacious, comfy, clean room with big beds and everything you expect from a hotel room. Great location for our travel plans - Elk City is midway between Normal, IL and Tucson, AZ. On our drive back, we had travel delays and realized at 3:00pm in New Mexico that we weren't going to be able to get that far. We had already reserved our room for that night, but we called and got a free cancellation despite a VERY last-minute notification. Personal attention, Family-run business. I highly recommend it!"

We had a lovely conversation about some shared interests. What a nice change from the sterility of the chains. The room was great. It had everything you’d expect from a chain - and more. Comfortable bed and linens, big TV with WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, Kleenex, toiletries, iron and ironing board (Yeay!), coffee maker and so forth. Of course the room was very clean. The tilework in the bathroom was very nice, and they had a grab bar by the toilet as well as in the tub area. Much appreciated! The price was the lowest of the trip. Sure beat my potential “points” elsewhere. If you have time, explore Elk City. What a beautiful, historic and vibrant town. So, although I am eager to get on the road, I just had to take time to leave this review! Stay at the Flamingo!"
