"We had a great stay at Fort Amarillo RV Resort! Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the staff truly stood out—they were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A huge bonus is the on-site store, Lizzie Mayes, which is absolutely adorable and definitely worth taking the time to walk through. It’s charming, well-curated, and adds such a fun touch to the resort. The RV sites are a bit tight, but they are very clean, well-maintained, and accommodating, which made our stay comfortable. Another big plus is the location—there are plenty of things to do nearby, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area without having to go far. Overall, Fort Amarillo RV Resort is a clean, friendly, and convenient place to stay, and we would happily return!"

"We stayed here for two months, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. From the very first day, the staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful — every single time we needed something, they treated us with great attention and respect. They received countless packages for us with no problem at all, and always with a smile. The bathrooms were always spotless — very clean, well maintained, and everything worked perfectly throughout our entire stay. The park itself is peaceful and quiet, especially at night, which made it the perfect place to rest and feel at home. The whole area is calm, the people are friendly, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for. We’re very grateful to everyone at the campground for making our stay so pleasant. Everything worked perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect for an overnight stop or longterm living! We stopped for one night as we were passing through. The park is cute with many amenities such as an indoor heated pool, workout room, game room, laundry, pet area, and a beautiful pond area! While I didn't get a chance to explore the amenities, we stayed across from the pond in a long 90' site with additional parking for our 2nd vehicle. The staff was friendly. There is also an attached Mercantile store called Lizzie Mae's with so many cute items! We would recommend this place!"

"This is our first time to stay at Fort Amarillo RV resort and it didn’t disappoint. Everyone is so friendly and the park is beautiful. There is a little walking path in the middle with water falls and chairs to sit and relax. The pull through spaces are easy to get into and out of and are very spacious. And I forgot to mention The Lizzie Mae’s gift shop, it’s amazing, they have home decor, candles, gifts, mixes and so much more!! I highly recommend this park!"
