"This is a very unique KOA. From the greetings by friendly staff, free cookies at check-in, a pet potty spot right at the entrance, to the well stocked store/gift shop, the gourmet meals prepared on-site and delicious desserts delivered to your rv if you want, a beautiful walking trail highlighting the lava fields surrounding the area, free breakfast and another k9 area. Well kept park with gravel level lots. We stayed overnight in the fall and the weather was wonderful. Far enough from I40 that the traffic sounds are muted with easy access to town."

"We stopped here for the night and were not disappointed. The people are friendly and welcoming, the facilities are clean, and they have bathrooms, showers, and a laundry room. They have a dinner menu you can order from for homecooked evening meals delivered right to your RV, including desserts (which were delicious!). There is also a store which has just about anything you may have forgotten for you or your RV, and a large selection of gift items. We would definitely stay here again if we are in this area in the future."

"Had a great stay at Grants KOA campsite. Very friendly owners & staff and it was so nice to have the option of ordering a hot meal from their kitchen. We were too tired to go get dinner, so the owner brought our orders on his golf cart to our campsite. Bathrooms/showers were CLEAN & upgraded, and the cabins on site looked inviting too. Overall great experience. Thank you were upgraded"

"After a rough stay the night before in Green River I honestly thought KOA was off our list for good. Grants KOA changed that in a single stop. We pulled into a classic New Mexico desert scene which I appreciate as a native New Mexican. This is a very rough climate in this part of the state but the desert volcanic rock based mesa scenery is remarkable. Sunset and sunrise were spectacular and set the entire tone for our stay. The young lady at check in set the tone immediately. Remarkable service. Professional. Clear communication. Helpful in every step. She represented the entire operation with pride and it showed. Every staff member moved with purpose and it was obvious that this campground is run with intention and care. The onsite store complementary breakfast and made to order food from their small restaurant were a fantastic touch. It is rare to see that level of effort placed into traveler comfort and it made a real difference after a long day on the road. Bathrooms and showers were spotless and updated. The entire campground is small but designed well. It fit our needs perfectly and honestly exceeded every expectation we had when we pulled in. After our previous KOA experience this location had one chance to change our mind and they did it. We will absolutely return. Grants KOA earned every bit of this five star rating. We will return and we generally dont go to the same place twice. Its never the same!"

"Possibly one of the best Journeys I've ever stayed at. The pad utilities were well placed where you didn't have to string out your water, electric and sewer for a mile. The pad was level and well maintained. The whole park showed 'care'. This is what a KOA Journey should be. Easy in, easy out...perfect."
