"Stayed here for 2 months during the summer for an internship. They have a kitchen that was great for cooking and heating up food, though the stove didn’t work on the second floor. The co-host, Dee, is very friendly and maintains the house very well. He offered to lend me his bike many times and gave me a discount on their laundry services. The rooms had air conditioning which was a blessing during the summer heat. I would recommend this place for both short term and long term stay!"

"I stayed in Happy Home for one week. Booking thru Qunar was easy. Hosted by Jesse and Dee, and both are very cordial and nice. Thanks Dee for looking after me. Home is clean and tidy. Neighborhood is peace and quite. Price is very affordable. Will stay here again if I am in Chicago."

"I have very much enjoyed staying at this Happy Home BnB with Jessie and Zhibo as excellent hosts. Jessie is very proactive about ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The other guests truly love the place and are friendly and private but they were enthusiastic about making sure it is a nice play to stay. I also liked the area. Bloom High School is nearby which is a beautiful art deco building. There are Cook County Forest Preserve several trails to walk and bike. The trail goes east to Indiana and west to Joliet if you are on a bike. I also liked the birding at the house with some nice northern Orioles and warbling vireos. I liked the place so much that I am going back."

"So I basically got in a situation, where I had to get out to Chicago due to an emergency situation with my daughter at the Chicago University hospital. Because she was still going to be in the ICU within the hospital rules I would not be allowed to stay with her overnight . I needed a quick place to stay and I came across Happy Homes. I wasn't sure what to expect because I'm extremely an out of Towner and I don't know the neighborhood. But the location and the price was so good I booked a room for a night. And I was under a little stress being in a big city and dealing with issues with my kid at the hospital. But I did need accommodations for one night. And now today I will be leaving here. I will say that the manager is extremely professional very polite he was patient with me because I was a little confused of the accommodations. However, once I got checked in my room was Private very pleasant clean I didn't really explore the house too much but the bathroom was very clean and overall it was very comfortable , and accommodating experience.And it got me through the night, now I can go back to the hospital, is my daughter is no longer in the ICU Thank you happy homes"
