Harrah's Joliet - A Caesars Rewards Destination

"So I came here with my sister, and this guy put us in a very strange situation. Super aggressive, would not leave us alone, and intoxicated beyond his means ( He snuck into the casino with it), and he basically would not leave us alone. We finally told staff it took them 20 seconds to safely remove him from the casino. Staff constantly reassured us they are ON THE CASE. They wouldn't let this person who scared us back in, and we could be escorted safely to our cars. They were fantastic. Karen, the 2 bartenders on staff, the 2 security gaurds, and the waitress we told. You were ALL amazing. Astonishing. Worked together with such pep in your step. I know this is a rare occurrence, like extremely rare where someone just sneaks in with alcohol and such, but it was handled so BEAUTIFULLY. Felt great after being reassured by staff he would not be returning. You all did an amazing job, thats why I love your casino the most. You guys GET TO WORK when things get weird."

"Myself and a girlfriend stayed January 25-30 (5 nights) for $149.00 total which included the $17.40 resort fee and a few sundries. What a great price based on our casino play. The room was very clean and well appointed. The front desk and maid staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a water leak in the bathroom due to the frigid temperatures. The staff responded quickly moved us immediately to a different room and comped us $30 at any of the on-site restaurants. And there is the rub...for an upscale hotel Harrah's Joliet has extremely limited restaurant options. There is NO PLACE to get a decently priced and cooked breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Cross Street Grill has no table service, the order lines are long and the menu is sparse. The Reserve is very expensive and not open every night and Tortazo by Rick Bayless is just AWFUL. You can smell the grease from Tortazo as soon as you walk into the property and the food is not worth the price. We did not see any people eating there even when it was open. Bring back the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. We had to keep leaving the casino to get something to eat (which means we were not gambling as much). We went to Hollywood and their food court was fantastic...not sure why Harrah's can't do the same. Otherwise we had a great time. Slots were hot and cold (like most casinos) and we appreciated the low $5.00 table limits in the mornings."
