"My review is 90% based off of the truly exceptional service from the hotel staff. The location is close to things you may need to purchase and food options are fairly decent without having to go very far from the hotel to get whatever you need. The rooms are small but clean and kept very neat with a small refrigerator and microwave for convenience. However the staff (Marlene & George) was so pleasant & professional I felt compelled to write this review. On numerous occasions during our 1 night stay, these individuals went out of their way to accommodate us and were extremely attentive to our needs. They were present immediately when a man came on to the premises clearly inebriated and was removed immediately. They really made you feel as though they were happy to have you staying there and were very kind and respectful. I really wish every business had such excellent customer service. It was a very positive experience because of these individuals and I highly recommend anyone going to stay there just for that reason alone. Thank you again to both Marlene & George for being so wonderful and setting such a high standard of excellent customer service. I was very impressed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!"

"I'm an over the road pet transporter, and I had just finished dropping off the last of the puppies on this run, and it was just me and my old black Labrador when I started feeling very headache-y. I found this place after some searching. I don't do chains. So I called and he said they accept pets and had a room for 3 nights. Perfect. Needed some time off. There was a slight maintenance issue with the shower, but the guy came and fixed it right away. I would definitely add this though: I'm short. I can't reach the shower head, and it's facing the WALL. They were very awkward showers. Also, and this is a real concern for future guests, the remote DOES work the cable box. But. The cable box is set so high above and slightly behind the TV that the signal doesn't reach it. So I can turn the TV on and the volume up and down, but from the bed or even just standing next to the bed I can't change the channel. Which means, like me, if you want to watch TV you have to get up, go under the TV, and point the remote control up to the back of the box. It's very awkward, and it's a good thing I didn't want to watch TV lol. Also, I think one of the rooms next to me is a smoking room, so early morning and in the evenings I've been smelling cigarette smoke and weed smoke. Yes they allow pets, but if you'll want to walk you dog in the dirt patch across the street from the office, NOT in the back. That are back there is absolutely full of sand spurs. Over all they are very polite and on their game. I'd stay here again. Sorry about all the dog hair though, guys."
