"We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Albuquerque Midtown. My wife, daughter, and I were traveling for leisure and checked in around 6:00 PM. The front desk agent who helped us (I didn’t catch his name) was incredibly friendly and efficient—great first impression. Our room was clean, prepared for our arrival, and the beds were very comfortable, which made it easy to get a solid night of rest before another long day on the road. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, just steps from the I-40/I-25 junction. Despite being so close to the freeways, the room was surprisingly quiet—we didn’t hear any traffic during rush hour or in the evening. It’s also only about five minutes from downtown, and depending on your room, you can even catch a view of the skyline. The area felt fine and much better than some reviews make it sound. We only saw two unhoused individuals near the property, and they weren’t causing any issues. Honestly, in 2025 you’ll encounter homelessness in any major city across the country—even at high-end hotels. It’s not a reflection of this property at all. The hotel itself felt safe, well-maintained, and our belongings were secure. Complimentary breakfast was great—hot, filling, and consistent with what we’ve come to expect from Holiday Inn/IHG. Overall, this hotel offered excellent value for the price, location, and amenities. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Albuquerque."

"Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Albuquerque Midtown was a decent and comfortable place to stay. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were well maintained, making the stay pleasant overall. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options to start the day. The best part of the stay was the 24-hour coffee machine—it freshly brews coffee from beans and makes really good coffee, which was a big plus for us. The staff was courteous, the atmosphere was calm, and the location was convenient for getting around Albuquerque. Overall, a good value stay, especially if you appreciate good coffee and a reliable breakfast."

"We had a great stay for 2 nights in 2 rooms. Room was spacious and clean Bed was comfortable. Loved the shower! Breakfast was nice and had plenty of seating. Check in was a bit rough with my room being ready about 45 min after check-in time. We ate some snacks that were in the lobby and they apologized for the wait. Felt safe in the area and it was a quick drive to dining and a park-n-ride for the balloon Fiesta. I would stay here again."

"Clean room, quiet property, well lit parking lot, short drive to get back on the interstate. Room had both a microwave and a fridge. Complimentary breakfast buffet was pretty decent and there's an Applebee's across the parking lot for the post-long-day-driving, don't-want-to-get-back-in-the-car-to-get-dinner end to a day on the road. Everything you need in a roadtrip stay!"
