Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield by IHG

"Excellent place to stay!! We arrived super late on a Saturday night and were helped quickly. The man working had just ok customer service but was sufficient at checking us in. The parking lot was huge and looked great for oversized vehicles and trailers! Our room was clean and temperature perfect. The bathroom was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic!! There was an employee constantly making sure everything was full and tidy. They offered eggs(scrambled & omelette), sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuits/gravy, oatmeal, big cinnamon rolls, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, pastries, juices & coffee. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and felt very safe. I would 100% stay here again if back in the area. The price was fair and less expensive than some lower quality hotels. Definitely recommend."

"Great 2 night stay at this pet friendly Holiday Inn Express! Room was very clean and spacious. Air conditioner was quiet and effective. No odors (pet, mold, marijuana, etc.) and no heavily fragranced air freshener trying to hide anything. Bathroom was also very clean. The beds were firmer than I prefer, but I had a travel sized memory foam topper and slept well. Even though the hotel is right next to the highway and we were at the back of the building, we heard no road noise in the room. Breakfast had a good selection: scrambled eggs, omlettes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, and pancakes along with oatmeal and the usual cold cereal. Front desk staff were all pleasant. There is a small fitness room in the building. The indoor pool is next-door, so we didn't see that. There were some very minor signs of wear on the bathroom ( a little rust on the chrome at the bottom of the vanity, some worn grout where the wall meets the floor behind the door), but this didn't effect the cleanliness or functionality at all. We were traveling with a small dog and there was a $75 charge for the stay. Also note that there is a $50 deposit for incidentals that is refunded at checkout. I'm assuming this is for convenience area purchases. Would definitely stay here again!"

"A very nice Hotel. Quiet, comfortable room, and the staff, especially the guy in the breakfast area, was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was as good as usual."
