"I came in with low expectations and ended up having a better experience than anticipated. The stay was smooth, and Mike at the front desk was especially welcoming. He checked me in efficiently, was very friendly, and showed real customer care. In a city where hospitality can feel rushed or indifferent, his service was refreshing."

"I stayed at Hollywood Star Inn for two nights and my experience was overall OK. The hotel is very well located — probably one of the best areas for tourists who want to stay close to the main attractions. There’s on-site parking, and I was able to keep my car there both days without any problem. The guy at the front desk was polite and explained everything clearly when we checked in. The room and bathroom were clean, although the bed linens looked a bit old. If you’re looking for a five-star hotel, this is not the place for you — but it’s a fairly priced, safe, 2 star option that gets the job done. At night, there was a security guard walking around the property who was a bit rude, but it wasn’t a big deal. The area does have some homeless people around (as in many places in California), but they didn’t bother anyone. I walked around with my wife at night and felt safe. Overall, it’s a good value for the price and location!"

"This is pretty good considering the location. Can see a few rough people in the area however it has become better. The staff are friendly and they take pride in their property. Rooms are pretty clean"
