a month ago"I was a bit skeptical at first because of the mixed reviews, but our experience turned out to be very good. I had emailed the hotel beforehand to let them know we would be arriving close to midnight on Christmas, and they kindly reassured me not to worry. Indeed, we were welcomed without any issues and the check-in process was smooth. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The kitchenette worked perfectly, which was very convenient. The only minor detail was that in both of our rooms the refrigerator doors had some dents, but this did not affect their functionality at all. The location is excellent… right across from the Harry Potter store and just one block from the Starbucks Reserve. It’s also very accessible by public transportation, with buses that take you downtown, to Millennium Park, and to many museums. Breakfast was very good, not extremely varied but sufficient. During peak season it does get crowded, and you may wait up to 20 minutes to make waffles, plus food tends to run out quickly. The elevators also took a while since there were many guests, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, the facilities are more than adequate for the price offered. We would definitely return someday. We are still waiting for the refund of our security deposit, but we are confident it will be resolved favorably. Highly recommended!"

4 months ago"Stayed at this hotel for 10 days and loved it. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly, breakfast is fresh. The guy that helps out with breakfast is extremely welcoming and personable. The valet staff was helpful with helping me get a taxi when Uber was too busy. Location of this hotel is great, so much to do within walking distance. Room service is great as well, the maids make sure to check in that you have everything you need."
