"Our car broke down as we were getting into Santa Rosa, and we didn’t have many options since we limped our way to the mechanic next door. Fortunately, the lady at the front was understanding and kind enough to allow us to check into a room early because of our situation. The room was nice with a large tv, pretty good bathroom, and very comfortable beds; not to mention there was a very modern, but vintage looking design and a mini fridge. Stayed there 3 nights and enjoyed watching the college football playoff quarterfinals. Cleaning lady was nice as well."

"09/01/2025- This hotel was a great surprise. The door to the hotel room had the room number, which was a picture of a nearby attraction (a nice touch). We opened the room and it was spacious, clean and well done. The rooms had recently been remodeled, and it showed. They actually had room darkening blinds (like, actually good ones that completely shut out the lights). Not curtains. The blinds had a photo on it, which was nice as well. The room was large and had some cool decor. I would highly recommend staying at this location. My only complaint was the breakfast. It was ok, at best, but still good. Eggs, potato's and ham was served...and typical continental style food. I would give the buffet a 3 out of 5 stars, but the room was why we stayed here. The food, for the record, was good, just not a wide-variety and not great. Just good. We would 100% stay here again!"

"I was coming from Flagstaff and had planned on checking into the pet friendly Comfort Inn. I left a little earlier than planned, and arrived at about two pm. I did not have a reservation and they told me they could not give me a room until three, their check in time was three. I was pretty bothered until I looked up this blue motel across the street. Did they take pets? Yes! Awesome. Call, ask if there's a room, yes. I need ground floor if there are no elevators, is that possible? Yes. Perfect! I was so relieved, I didn't much care what it was like, it couldn't look worse than the Motel 6, my other option. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the lobby. For some reason, I expected it to be a much smaller area, but it was actually quite nice. The woman who I spoke to greeted me and was as nice as can be. I walked into my room, and I was speechless. I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't what I got. A very clean, bright, modern room with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed that had lights around the base. There was a loveseat and marble looking table to my left, and a massive television with a bench under it to my right, and at the end of the bench, a table with a rolling chair, a small fridge with a glass door, and a microwave. Straight ahead was the bathroom counter. The mirror has a ring light, there is a hair dryer, the towels are larger and thicker than most motels I've stayed at along this trip, and there was a soap and lotion dispenser on the wall. In with the toilet was a glass enclosed walk in shower with a safety bar, a shelf for your shampoo or razor, a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser on the back wall, a little ledge for your foot when you're shaving your legs, and a very soothing rain shower head. I slept so good, I did not want to get up. I didn't even bother to go get breakfast. The only thing that happened that wasn't pretty much perfect was housekeeping knocking on my door at eight in the morning. She didn't wake me up and she was VERY apologetic, so it was no big deal. Location.. there isn't much around but if you need a really cool, clean, comfortable place to stay for a night or two, choose this over the chain. I doubt you'll regret it."
