Hotel Versey Chicago Lincoln Park

"Really enjoyed our stay. I love artsy hotels. We used Hilton points to stay on Valentine's day, but my husband said list price was like $200. The vibe was quirky. I especially liked the hotel elevator, which is covered from head to toe in stickers. Our room was spacy and clean, and staff was very helpful with any questions I had. Two minor critiques: the nearest parking garage is around the corner, and is not attached to the hotel. The other is whatever fragrance it is they pump into the lobby is extremely overwhelming. With my allergies and asthma, I found it hard to breathe and my eyes instantly started water anytime I passed through the lobby. It would be great if they could dial that back."

"My kid lives in the area and has always recommended this hotel but I didn’t have a chance to stay there until now. It is a very nice and clean boutique hotel. Some noise from the street but that is to be expected. Convenient and adjacent to stores and shops nearby as well as the subway. I wanted to recognize Alekxa in particular at the front desk working the overnight shift. We arrived at the property extremely late but she took care of us and was professional, friendly, and courteous. She gave an outstanding first impression to what ended up being a terrific stay overall."

"Sort of a boutique style hotel now ran by Hilton. Great location, exceptional service, nice rooms. My room was clean and comfortable with nice linens, towels and a comfortable bed/pillows. WiFi was incredibly slow. People will complain about the small rooms and old school bathrooms, but I like the vintage vibe and enjoy staying in places that have personality and aren’t US cookie cutter chains. I would stay again for the location, service and comfort but they need to improve the WiFi and provide some main upkeep. No restaurant currently but they’re installing a bar."
