Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile

"We had a great stay overall. The rooms were very clean and felt modern and updated, which we really appreciated. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night of sleep. The location is excellent if you are looking to shop or be close to restaurants and attractions along the Magnificent Mile. The hotel is right next to a hospital, so you can hear ambulances at times. That said, the room includes a sound machine, and once we turned it on we slept through the night without any issues. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a convenient and walkable Chicago stay."

"Our family stayed at the Hyatt Centric from December 21–24, and we were blown away by the level of service and the genuinely friendly faces throughout the hotel. A special shout-out is absolutely deserved for the breakfast restaurant team—hands down some of the most efficient, accommodating, and welcoming staff we’ve encountered. They were especially wonderful with our kids, which made our mornings even better. Truly outstanding! The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being able to walk to Navy Pier, the South Loop, and just about anywhere we wanted to explore. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. If management is reading this, please give extra recognition to the breakfast restaurant team—they made a great stay even better!"

"I stayed at Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile for my friends’ wedding and spent the weekend as both a bridesmaid and the MC. I stayed for a couple of nights and had such a smooth, comfortable experience. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and room service came quick every time. The real standout was the staff, especially Joel. He was everywhere throughout the wedding weekend and consistently went above and beyond. From breakfast service to helping in the bridal suite to supporting the team in the ballroom, he was attentive, assertive, and genuinely caring. People like him make the whole stay feel elevated. He absolutely deserves a raise. Thank you Hyatt Centric Mag Mile for taking great care of us during such an important celebration. I’ll definitely stay again!"

"Our family of 5 really enjoyed this hotel. I purchased a quick 3 day trip to Chicago for my mom for Christmas. She and I and my 3 children spent 2 nights at the Hyatt. Our room was clean and spacious, the housekeeping staff were beyond kind and helpful as well. The breakfast buffet and staff were top notch. They were the most friendly and outgoing food service staff we encountered the entire trip!! Check-in was easy and our room was ready early. Location is wonderful and an easy walk to shopping, food, and the pier. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a fun stay here. The location is ideal, walking distance to Michigan avenue but in a less busy area. We did not experience any noise issues at all. The lobby bar was a cozy and family-friendly place to watch the Bears win! The pool is great for kids, and the hot tub is spacious. We did find them to be very heavily chlorinated, however, and would recommend that the hotel check the chemical levels. Otherwise, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to other Chicago visitors."
