InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile by IHG

"Lupe was amazing when making the reservation, a true gem. We stayed in a suite for 2 nights, and it was perfect. Room was not overdone and roomy, a bathroom for us and a bathroom for our girls. Corner suite was so fun for them to see the city from many views. Small mishap, we called the hotel before we left (2 hour drive and a time zone change) and talked to Brenda who said our room was ready so we headed out. When we arrived to the hotel, we were told our room was not ready yet, but seriously Fredy did amazing and got us a great room comparable to the suite we initially booked. Eva and Susan checkin in with us during and after our stay, which was appreciated. Location of this hotel was amazing for shopping on Michigan Ave. We love going to Chicago and had not been to this one yet, and might give it a try again. Loved the views and 48 hours of family time. Also, I did not use the pool, but husband and daughter did, busy but nice, Definitely one to see in Chicago."

"My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the InterContinental Chicago this weekend. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—especially from Than at the front desk. He was incredibly personable and friendly, asked about the reason for our visit, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Once he learned we were celebrating our anniversary, he added thoughtful touches that made our stay feel truly special. His kindness set the tone for our whole weekend. Our room was beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. It felt like such a relaxing retreat after being out exploring the city all day. The location of the hotel was also perfect. We were able to walk to almost everything on our itinerary, from restaurants to shops to sightseeing along the lakefront. It made the trip so easy and enjoyable. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the hotel and the service. Than deserves special recognition for helping make our anniversary trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!"

"I spent San Valentin’s day at the hotel, that was an amazing experience, we really enjoyed the pool and the snacks they offered there. Avery helped me to check in, she was kind and helpful, making my experience even better; there is also a convenient Starbucks store by the lobby!!! The view from my room was nice, a beautiful view of Michigan avenue, love it!"

"FYI-Room service delivery fee is $8. Gratuity is automatically added but does not show up in the cart. It only shows up AFTER you pay, on the receipt. We ordered 3 milk and cookies and the final bill was $45 ($25 for the food item and rest on delivery, tax, automatic gratuity and extra tip)! The hotel itself is nice. Rooms, bathrooms and facilities are clean. Staff is courteous. Pool is beautiful. Location can't be beat."
