Reading some of the reviews I got the impression the reviewers were newbies and didn't know the difference. The spots are good sized, pull thru gravel, full hookups and plenty wide. Long bed, 4 door F250 with a Imagine 2970RL. Plenty of room. We got in over an hour after office closing, well after dark, and the host met me coming out the door of the late arrival ppwk area. Older, gruff, a real American taking care of his camp. Escort to the spot, help lining up, explanation of the hookups and a good night. Perfect. While the camp is near I44, very little interstate noise. Someone mentioned a train in their review...no trains. I even went looking on Google Maps for train tracks. No tracks. Good electric, and water. Quiet. Neat and orderly. We didn't access the building, showers or anything beyond the immediate area. Overnight stop, KOA Journey. We marked it on our book as a we'll return. $57 with tax. Petro and Loves at the exit. Exactly everything we want in a overnight stop and w/o anything we don't want. Recommended. BTW... To the campground host: thank you for your service, Sir."

The owners were very accommodating in our multiple plan changes, Amazon order delivery, towing of our vehicle, and the various rentals we acquired. Would definitely stay again."

The playground was great for our one night stay. I think we saw one fish in the tiny pond, but it kept my young kids busy. The highway noise is quite loud at night, but was expected based on previous reviews."
