Very clean, great location, though some travel vlogs say this can be sketchy at night but as I stayed in November I wasn't out at night so can't vouch for that. Great staff, my room was cleaned during my stay even though I didn't request it. Would be my first choice if returning to LA."

We had a full size bed. Didn't know they still made those! It was comfortable and the linens were so clean you could smell a faint hint of bleach. A win for me. All in all a pleasant stay for one night. I don't know if the room would work for 3 people if it were a longer stay or the occupants were on the larger size."

I was going to stay at a different local motel that was $70 a night but it was in a sketchy part of town. I read the reviews for the other motel after I made the reservation. They said it had roaches and bedbugs! I canceled the reservation the day it was booked for and found the Kawada Hotel that same day. The location is perfect, and for just a few dollars more, I was able to stay in a clean, roach- and bedbug-free room with a microwave, fridge, and the most powerful hair dryer on planet Earth. I also felt much safer with my car in valet parking than out in the open at a motel. The room was small and downtown was noisy but just keep the air conditioner on and it will drown out all the sirens and construction."
