La Posada de Santa Fe, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa

"I stayed at La Posada Resort in Santa Fe for 16 days, and it truly felt like coming home. Santa Fe has a unique spirit that reminds me of Diriyah, the old capital of Saudi Arabia. We even jokingly call it “Saudi Santa Fe” because of the shared sense of history, culture, and beauty. A heartfelt thank you to Allen and the entire restaurant and bar team, your kindness and hospitality made me feel like I was with family. The food was consistently delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed every meal. Check-in was also easy and smooth. The quiet atmosphere of the resort gave me peaceful, restorative time, and I really appreciated the excellent housekeeping, the room was always clean and comfortable. And as someone from the Middle East, I have to say: we love spacious rooms, and this one was perfect. Special thanks as well to the valet team for taking great care of the cars and always being helpful and friendly. This is a wonderful place, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Fe. Location is perfect is nearby everything even I did not use my car too much. See you again guys!"

"It is a beautiful hotel with rustic rooms and a well preserved original mansion as the lobby and restaurant and bar area. Artistic paintings. A lot of history to the place. The best thing about our stay was the fireplace in the room which made the stay very cozy. They had firewood outside and you can manage your own fireplace which was fun. If we had trouble we can ask the hotel for help on the fire. Bathroom clean and toilet and fixtures worked well. Hot water was very hot. Room heater was strong but came out of living room, hard to get heat into bedroom or bathroom areas as separate rooms. Parking is complimentary and is valet with luggage service. Service staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast service was slow but people nice. Overall recommend as a holiday stay."

"I only stayed for 1 night and loved my room for the most part. You can’t beat the location being close to the action but also far enough to give a quiet luxury. There was a Nespresso in my room which was a lovely surprise. Unfortunately because of the higher ceilings it took much more heat to keep warm. I tried the fireplace but it didn’t heat the room very well so I had to revert back to the central heat. There were also a few broken and loose tiles in the flooring and the bathroom remained ice cold even with the heat running. Overall, I would stay here again but just not when it’s cold."

"Just a quick walk from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, the staff and accommodations at La Posada de Santa Fe is a great choice for your NW weekend. The staff is wonderful. From the (completely) valet guys, the front desk, and the bartenders, they have you covered. Friendly and courteous. Not hovering but ready to help. My King Suite with Fireplace was a little dated and had poor water pressure with some cabinet doors not exactly performing as expects but it was large with plenty of room for two except for the tiny closet. You may need a rolling hanging rod to accommodate jackets and more. The bath room offered a tub and shower with a double vanity. Not large but perfectly adequate. A little desk area came in handy and of course the wood burning fireplace. An absolute must when I visit Santa Fe. Need help lighting it? No problem. That amazing staff I mentioned, they will take care of it for you. All and All a 5 star experience with beautiful grounds right where you want to be."
