"My spouse and I had the most delightful stay at Lehmann House. The house is beautiful and full of charm and details, and Marie is an incredibly gracious host. I loved chatting about old houses and gleaning some great tips. The location was perfect for our weekend activities including a concert at Powell Hall and having the very best home base to enjoy the Lafayette Square Holiday Parlor Tour, with great restaurants just a block or two away. The wood burning fire in our room and at breakfast were magical. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. Our stay was the biggest element in making a birthday weekend very special. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Marie!"

"We stayed two nights in Norah’s Room and had a wonderful experience. While the room is rumored to be haunted, nothing out of the ordinary happened just a peaceful, comfortable stay that made for a fun bit of history and charm. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and one of the highlights was eating by the fireplace, which made breakfast and the house feel especially cozy and welcoming. The home itself is beautifully kept and set in a lovely area near Lafayette Square,, perfect for a quiet getaway. Marie was exceptionally kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, the house was beautiful, the atmosphere warm, and it was absolutely perfect for our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others. I would like to add to the negative review left by Timothy Carrs wife -As someone who has stayed here, I think this review needs some perspective. This is a private home that operates as a bed and breakfast, not a public attraction. Check-in hours apply to registered guests, not to people stopping by unannounced. Walking into someone’s home without prior contact would understandably concern anyone, especially a single woman operating the property. The response described sounds like a safety and boundary issue, not rudeness. I also want to address the implication that this was about race or language (“we were speaking Spanish”). During my stay, the owner was warm, welcoming, and professional, and I never saw anything that suggested bias of any kind. Guests from many backgrounds stay here. The house is beautiful, well run, and in a residential area where security matters. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this B&B."

"The Lehmann house is full of character and charm. The highlight of our stay was having a “real” fireplace to enjoy the brisk evening together in our room. The food was excellent and Marie was a very conscientious host. Great location in the city and not too far off of the highway if passing through."
