Ludlow Motel

"It basically in middle of nowhere so that in itself why I gave a 5 star on location! Over all I'd say 3 or 4 . Price was decent and so was the room plus spacious . Although the bath ya could plainly see where a bar of soap use to be that had NOT BEEN CLEANED. Plus was hot when we got into room. Other then that no complaints. Bed was ok we slept decent. It was quite. Would stay there again."

"I stayed there a while back but had forgotten to leave a review. This place doesn’t claim to be anything other than what it is and it’s perfectly fine for what it is. Is it glamorous? No. It’s a motel in the middle of the desert near the railroad tracks And there’s nothing else around within a 50 mile radius, which would be Barstow. I was actually quite grateful they were there because I was tired and it was late and I just wanted a place to crash. The room was older but it was relatively clean and the air-conditioning worked. It’s not the place you go if you’re worried about all the amenities. They are literally in the middle of nowhere. I don’t know what some people would expect. The process is a little bit different. You’ve got to check in at the Chevron across the street and you get a free drink. So if you want all the fancy amenities and prefer there to be on site staff, this isn’t the place for you. But, it was perfect for what I needed. A place to crash and get going in the morning."

"Loved the ambience . Funky and a memorable experience. The motel didn't have their lights on at night. Thought it was abandoned but it was open. Told them the lights were off and they turned them on. 🤣. One of the most memorable things on my Mojave trip."
