You absolutely will smell pot traveling in Sand Springs (It's OK, it's unavoidable) but they're very good about making sure it doesn't happen on their lot. Most of the negative reviews (as far as I can tell) are from entitled folk who were told no for the first time in their life cause the hotel policies are extremely clear. They're honest people, just be decent."

For the price it was fair. I will say it’s 5 stars just for whoever replies to these reviews. It is hilarious that people think they can play in this GMs face and not get called out. This GM is not only standing on business but bringing receipts. 😳🤭😂🤣"

While it is an old hotel, we found the room to be very clean. That’s all I’m really looking for when I’m only staying overnight. Because we drove through a haze of marijuana as we passed a dispensary, I was really happy to see the sign on the front desk that said people would be fined $300 if they were found smoking marijuana in their room. I was very surprised when we came back at night to find the whole hallway reeked. I told the front desk lady and asked her if I could get a towel to put under the door so that the smell wouldn’t come in our room. She came back with towels and also said she would try to locate the source. The bed was pretty hard and I sleep better on a soft bed. Our room was quiet, it was clean, and it was what we were looking for for the one night stay. You can see they are making updates to the property. I’m posting the only photo I took. 😅"
