When I saw that The Monterey Motel offered a fun room with four double bunk beds, I knew we had to book it , and I’m so glad we did. It turned out to be a great decision. The room was clean and modern, the staff was extremely helpful, and it was conveniently located near plenty of great dinner options. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and book this room. You won’t be disappointed."

The small Lobby is where you check in and get your first glance at a tiny, gorgeous top shelf bar. Mark, a charming and experienced Bar Tender, welcomes you with a variety of excellent specialty drinks. Then, open the door to your well-appointed room and shower with a super comfortable king size bed. Sleep well!"

We had also stayed at Hotel Albuquerque, yet we were much happier with the comfort of the beds here — and at a significantly cheaper price. From check-in, the front desk person set the tone with cheerful, friendly service that made a long day of travel feel instantly better. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly modern, with an especially large and updated bathroom. This place is proof that you don’t have to spend top-dollar for top-notch comfort. Don’t hesitate to book here — you’ll be pleasantly surprised!"

Stylish, comfortable, clean rooms within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop, fast food, and a park along the Rio Grande River. Memory foam mattress, clothes steamer, everything looks new. You get a free craft cocktail or beer! My room was upgraded too. All for under a hundo per night (during off season). I'm giving 4 stars only because the 2 key ingredients for an overnight on the road are a good bed and hot shower. You guys, I wanted to believe all the complainers in the reviews were just being precious about the shower, but they're not. This shower sucks! Low water pressure and no shower door means the half of you not facing the water is freezing and you'll never get shampoo out of long or thick hair. But, don't let that stop you from booking here! This is an otherwise fantastic motel for the right price. I'll be back."
