2 weeks ago"This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The old historic style was amazing. I went around the holidays, and it was beautifully decorated. All staff I had interactions with were lovely and very accommodating. I was put in a room at the very end of a little hallway. It was told to me that this one had not been renovated as recently as some others, but it was still very spacious and nice. My only complaint about the room was the lack of overhead. Ignoring in the main room. There were only 2 lamps. At night it was not a lot of lighting. Location was convenient for me, seemed to be a safe area. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, and stores within a reasonable walking distance."

a week ago"Palmer House is gorgeous, historic and elegant but what truly makes it the crown jewel is the amazing staff. I traveled to Chicago for Unifieds with my teenage son and Tashera at front desk upgraded us to a more spacious corner room on a higher floor with views. I never expected to get such personalized service from a massive hotel that's part of a national chain. Thank you Tashera!🏆"

a month ago"Palmer House exceeded our expectations! To start, this was a Christmas trip to the city - before arriving, I emailed Dan to ask about having a Christmas tree sent before arrival. He was so kind and agreed to have it set up and decorated! Our children were SO excited for this “Christmas magic”! The valet and bellhops were so incredibly kind, offering dining suggestions and great conversation! The bartenders in the lobby were amazing! Delicious drinks and great atmosphere! Remembered us each time we stopped for a drink! The musician on Thursday and Friday night was INCREDIBLE! The front desk was so sweet and let our son send a letter to Santa.. they saved it for us to return to pick up for our memories, and gave him a coupon for a brownie to leave out for the big guy! Lockwood food is delicious and quick! The rooms are beautiful, the lobby is from another time - a romantic, classy, timeless era. We are in love with the city and with Palmer House. 10/10"
