The team members seem like they enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there. I don't know where they found these people, but they need to give them all raises and ask if they have any siblings that need jobs too. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Many of the rooms (odd number rooms maybe?) Face the 5th floor atrium where there is a large dining area, a swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, and laundry facilities. The soda fountain and coffee were easily accessible throughout the day and breakfast was plentiful. A room key is required for the elevators and the parking garage, so the building feels secure. Fantastic location close to the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, Enterprise Center, and plenty of restaurants and entertainment venues. We will be back in a few months for a different event and will definitely be staying here again."

If you are the kind of person who likes a homey hotel with amenities such as endless access to tea and water late at night, and self-service laundry, this is the place! The staff was wonderful and I had a great room (on the 5th floor) I enjoyed the happy hour (popcorn, chips and salsa, etc), I did laundry twice during my week-long stay with no issues (the front desk can provide you with quarters; cash only though). I ordered Grubhub and Doordash (including some nice finds like Nigerian, Ethiopian and the #3 best Ramen in St. Louis!) and had no issues getting my food. Also extra surprise on the fireworks show on my first night at the hotel from my window! The conference centre was a short (literally steps) away; the Arch is also within walking distance. Great food places within walking distance (thai, sushi, Nigerian, Southern, BBQ, etc), and a Schnuck's with a CVS. A couple minutes from the train station (on Washington). Everyone was super friendly and the elevator was prompt. Thank you for such a lovely stay! This is one of the kinds of hotels I made a note that if I ever make it to St. Louis again, I would definitely book!"

It is in a great location, across the street from the convention center, and just a fee blocks from the Arch. The hotel has a secured entrance and elevators, and a great classical decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, plus there is free breakfast every morning. There are also (two) free drinks and snacks during "Happy Hour" for guests every evening, plus a soda fountain and coffee anytime. There is also an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center in the very unique courtyard-like area. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm back in town."

a month ago"The staff are truly outstanding at the Pear Tree Inn! I was in town on business for a week and if you need anything, they are happy and quick to help. One evening leaving the office I was visiting I got caught out in a bad storm and got absolutely soaked head to toe. When I made it back to the Pear Tree Inn, the staff, Gail especially, rounded up the laundry supplies I needed to clean and dry my clothes (including trading out some cash for quarters), provided me menu options to order some take-out as I didn’t want to go back out, some cleaning towels to dry out my rental car, some cough drops when the soaking had me a little under the weather, and even some friendly good advice on the best way to dry out my soaked shoes. The Pear Tree Inn also has some great amenities: secure parking; free full breakfast; free 3 drinks and snacks cocktail hour; 24×7 access to free coffee, sodas and water; and if you are wanting access to events downtown it is literally right next to the convention center. The room wasn't anything fancy but it was very clean and the bed slept well."

The parking garage on site was awesome, with an obvious lane set back from the road to check in (other big cities don’t always have that). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean. And though the selections were lean all the complementary foods and drinks were well stocked for both breakfast and happy hour."
