We have a place we have dubbed. Maui's Island and the kids love it. Pack the ice chest, load up the boat and head on out to Pirates cove. Enjoy the Bar and restaurant, then head over to the general store and don't forget the fuel dock. If you don't like being right on the river there are rv sites next to the check in office."

The staff are friendly and helpful especially in situations dealing with a crazy Karen who pulled up with their RV demanding we move because we were supposedly in the wrong spot. The helpful staff politely explained to Karen how she was wrong and she continued to argue and tell everyone around her how everyone else was wrong; the typical expected Karen behavior you'd come to expect these days. Props to the staff for their patience with that person and couldn't be happier they ended up moving spots or hopefully leaving for everyone's sake. It worked out that we didn't have to be next to such an unhappy person. Other than a rocky start (dang Karen!), we all had a great time at the river. See you next year!!!"

A doctor on her ward used the word 'miracle' and if miracle was a bourbon neat low-ball... Then I suppose the chaser would have been 'maybe it's not always a good thing' we brought her out here to try and get her outside around living again.. I'll tell you words will show you ease.. that actions never could.. but it was on a Tuesday and for the briefest moment I ever knew.. I saw my sister for the last time.. she looked at me and for that brief moment she was there. In full understanding of the pain she was in.. I hair expected screams or rage as to curse God for this.. our mother's response to such accusations of God was while he may have not held the blade, I assure you he bore witness to it's violence, and indifference in that is one in the same.. and well I can't argue much with that . She would leave this life the following Thursday. I love this place for the memory it gives me, and for the smile it gave my sister.."
