a month ago"I have been a customer of the Red Roof Inn Plus off of Hampton and 44 in South St Louis for the past 3 to 4 years. This hotel has recently been acquired by new owners and it has had a major positive effect on how things are run and the crowd of people who rent rooms here. Housekeeping is more efficient and keep the rooms cleaner. However since the rooms are getting a bit older it could use some rehabbing. The rates are more competitive than they had been in the past and now accept cash payments which is very convenient. If you are paying cash please be prepared to have exact change as change will not be provided. The staff is very nice and respectful. I only have positive things to say about housekeeping as well. The laundry (towels and linens) are kept very clean and fresh sheets appear to be kept fresh. After I found out that the ownership had changed I was skeptical as I did not think that there would be much change and how this location was run. I was pleased to discover that I was incorrect in my assumption and will happily continue to be a customer of the Red Roof Inn Plus hotels!"
