"Was here for 11 days, the room was spacious and clean, and I had a really neat view of the river & river taxi. The hotel staff, front desk (Thank you, TJ!), housekeeping, and the manager (Thank you, Jessica) with whom I interacted were all professional, polite, and courteous. The hospitality and kindness extended were not lost on me. The Staytion Bar has excellent food, and the service there was also good, try the sliders, they're bangin'. The conference rooms have great views , and the rooftop bar is lovely. I think that's everything! I would recommend this hotel without reservation if you're in Chicago."

"Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel is an outstanding hotel in the heart of downtown. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering spectacular views of the river and city skyline. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional, making me feel valued as a guest. I enjoyed the convenient location, which is walking distance to attractions, shopping, and dining. The on-site restaurant and bar are fantastic, with delicious food and great drinks. Every aspect of my stay, from service to comfort, exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers."

"I recently stayed here for an end-of-the-year vacation and celebration. The staff are incredibly kind and professional, and they went so far above and beyond to show kindness and ensure my experience in Chicago was exceptional; not only that, but they did so in a way that was meaningful on a personal level. It was a perfect and smooth experience from check-in to check-out. Very inspiring to my own journey in hospitality. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I will always remember my time here, recommend this hotel to others, and stay here when I visit Chicago."

"Renaissance Chicago is a reasonable option to stay when visiting Chicago. It’s centrally located and within walking distance of many attractions and public transportation. We went with a junior suite which was reasonably priced. The room was ok, nothing fancy but comfy bed and clean restroom. The city views were great and there was a partial river view. Titanium Elite benefits did not get us much. No upgrade, lounge closed over the weekend, and breakfast was takeout for some reason so we elected for 1k points instead of the breakfast."

"A very pleasant stay made even more so by the superb staff. Thank you much to Paola and Emily at the front desk for their help and enthusiasm. Thank you to Carolyn in group reservations for setting things up. Queencilla in housekeeping was helpful. Taylor in the restaurant was welcoming and enthusiastic. Same for Sherry in the Club Lounge. Also, appreciate the birthday recognition. Unfortunately the Club Lounge is closed on the weekends and the substitute of a grab & go continental breakfast is just not the same as restaurant dining, especially when the lounge is not even open for coffee and soft drinks. Also, breakfast ends at 9:00 which is really early for some, especially as they rush to remove the food, when they should at a minimum leave out a bit longer, although serving until 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. would be preferable. The rooms are due for a refresh, but they are well-maintained. Note that if arriving by Uber, specify you want to be dropped off or picked up at the Wacker Drive entrance. Twice the car went to State Street which was inconvenient and cost us waiting time, although we luckily figured things out before we were considered a no-show. Hotel is very convenient to shopping, many offices and the Magnificent Mile."
