Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center

"I expect a hotel to have a restaurant with great food and superb service. Still, the Renaissance by Marriott Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center offered an intangible gift on the weekend of January 23, 2026. There was a nationwide winter storm, Fern, which closed down much of Tulsa. We had flown in from California and met family who had driven for two hours to celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday. We had 5 rooms with 11 guests. The restaurant’s full menu was closed, but they provided us with hot chicken noodle soup, pasta with beef, and broccoli. This hot meal was such a pleasant surprise. They also allowed us to celebrate our daughter’s birthday in their dining room, which had a large table and was in a warm room. Sunday morning, the check out time was 11 AM. Our flight was delayed and they generously allowed us to visit in their lobby for an additional three hours. We had numerous employees that went far above their job classifications. I would like to name three: Kerrigan-she works the front desk and was willing to try and accommodate my room request and floors to keep our daughter’s birthday a surprise. Maria-helped with dinner on the night when we were snowed in and cheerfully provided the space for our birthday party. Cathy-the morning breakfast waitress. She kept us supplied with coffee, hot chocolate and tea; something for everyone in our group while we waited for hours in the dining room. Their acts of kindness and compassion far surpassed my expectations. And a special thank you to Marriott, who provided rooms for their staff so they were not traveling in the storm."

"I can't say enough good things about Gabriel at the front desk. We had a very stressful day at a different mariott hotel after a pipe burst and we had no running water for 7 plus hours. We changed hotels to stay here and wow, such a beautiful lobby! Most importantly, Gabriel was so kind at check in and truly calmed our nerves. He even rang our rooms to make sure everything was to our liking. Thank you Gabriel for such a great experience for our family."

"The hotel is in the middle of renovation, and because of that I was expecting a lot less. The staff however was excellent & made sure to keep all the guests very happy. Because of a convention happening while I was there I expected to hear more noise from the bar. Surprisingly, I heard the people next door more & they weren't very loud. We ate at the bar the first night and the bartender was fabulous. She was by herself serving a full house & keeping up with an injured hand! I look forward to my next trip and seeing the updates to the hotel."
