Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile

"Wow! My 1st time at this hotel! I stay in Chicago often but I have never experienced a hotel like this. Everyone working there were happy. They always were friendly & would say good morning. Even getting on an elevator; the staff was sweet. The breakfast was delicious & so many options. The hotel was SO clean. I was not expecting what was in my room. There was a stove, a dishwasher, immaculate bathroom, the bed was so comfortable & they had buttons by the bed to make the blinds go down. I loved our room! I am 100% going to stay here again. The hotel they have on site is gorgeous. I was telling all my friends about this hotel. I was blown away. It was perfect. The staff was so positive & looked very happy to be there."

"I had a great stay at the residence Inn. The amenities in the room were excellent, and the breakfast was satisfying with lots of variety every day. Housekeeping was also very timely and quick to respond to requests while respecting privacy. The staff were pleasant and were able to accommodate any requests that came up during my stay. I love the location of the hotel as well as it is right on the mile and it is right next to the iconic Starbucks reserve. Very easy to walk all over Chicago from a central location. I strongly recommend this hotel for your stay!"

"I checked in on a Thursday last week with my family and was pleased to secure an early check-in, a courtesy that was greatly appreciated. Although the hotel was somewhat busy, the atmosphere remained manageable. Our room was modern and offered a delightful view. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome. In particular, Dimitri, who worked in valet parking, was outstanding. He consistently opened doors for us and greeted us warmly. We also utilized the valet service for my BMW, and Dimitri took great care of it. We plan to return to the hotel in the near future."

"We stayed for a few nights with my family and it was great! Its a perfect location to downtown. Our room was clean as was the entire hotel. The complementary breakfast was great with plenty of selection. I especially enjoyed the view while eating. I appreciated the extra level of security that you had to use key card to operate the elevator. The only negative is that the downtown area has several sirens throughout the day and night. A couple of times at night you could hear them from our room and it woke me up. Also, not really the fault of the hotel, but the hall smelled of smoke and the room next to us was very loud. However, I would stay at this hotel again!"

Living in the suburbs, it was a perfect choice for a short city getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again. The location is ideal and right in the heart of downtown."
