"My weekend stay at this hotel was absolutely winter wonderful!! From the cozy and beautifully twinkled lounge to a warm and friendly welcoming front desk by Diana. We even received a welcoming treat which was an amazing start to our weekend getaway! I was pleasantly surprised at how attentive the staff was to make sure we were comfortable. Celia at breakfast felt like family. She went above and beyond with every delicious dish and when she saw me struggling to pour my coffee with one hand while carrying my toddler with the other she came to the rescue to help me with pouring and preparing my coffee for me. This stay was truly luxuriously peaceful, filled with kindness and I highly recommend it!!!"

"After being awake for almost 40 hours and two redeyes on my way back from Taiwan, I got stranded in Chicago. The residence inn was the only hotel that would let me check in early, at 9 AM, so I could take a much-needed shower and sleep. I am so grateful to them. Service is excellent, location convenient with the free and frequent shuttle, and breakfast excellent for what it is. Would recommend!"

"Had to pick this hotel as a last minute change of plans, and I'm so glad I did! There is a full fridge,dishes/cups, dishwasher, stovetop, microwave, and lots of counter space! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Each day had different options. One day was pancakes, the next mini waffles. Bacon one day, chicken sausage the next. Hot, well stocked, plenty of options to choose from. The room itself had nice pillows, lots of room, and extremely clean. The ADA shower was wonderful too. The eucalyptus lavender soap was a wonderful touch. All of the staff was friendly, helpful, and willing to do whatever was needed to make the stay even better. They had a security guard at night, and parking was free. Lots of area to park too."

"I was visiting during the No Kings 2025 Protest and got a glimpse of how a big city like Chicago flexes it's energy; like Garrett's popcorn - chitown did NOT disappoint! I let the day get away without getting something to eat and before I knew it, it was after hours. I went to venture out on foot but rather than risk my safety, Ashley (Residence Inn excellecne) went the extra mile and blessed me with some eats. Ashley walked the wall, not just talk the talk, God bless her for setting the example for me 🙏🏾 Peace be w u"

"The room appeared a bit dated to me, some updates could be in order; king bedroom was a bit tight with the television on top of a dresser in the corner, very odd place for it but no room for it to be placed anywhere unless a possible mounting of the television on the wall which would be nice; toilet/bathtub/shower area could be updated; VERY GREAT customer service by front desk staff & the woman in the breakfast area, she was trying to be so helpful & accommodating to me due to my disappointment with only pork products this particular morning for breakfast."
