Residence Inn by Marriott Santa Fe

"I would like to sincerely thank the manager and the entire staff of this hotel in Santa Fe for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care that made us feel right at home. The manager deserves special recognition for excellent leadership and for creating an atmosphere where every detail is taken care of with efficiency and kindness. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable, pleasant, and memorable. What stood out most was the attention to detail, the friendliness, and the dedication of everyone we interacted with. Santa Fe is already a beautiful city full of culture and history, but staying at a hotel with such a wonderful team truly elevated the experience. "The property is extremely dated. But they are about to start a remodel. This is the old type of Residence Inn where each block of rooms is in its own building. I think there are two suites on top and 4 rooms on the bottom. The suites are cool. There is a king bed in a loft and a Murphy bed downstairs and I believe the couch was a sofa bed. If you have heavy luggage maybe ask for rooms near reception. I was doe at the bottom and there were stairs just to get to the building and then the suite was on the second floor so more stairs. There were no feather pillows in the room which is a huge disappointment. Especially since my Ambassador has notes in a special place to state I need feather pillows for every stay and even the Fairfield Inns make sure they are in the room. I think New Mexico has an aversion to down. 4 nights in NM and 4 different hotels and ZERO feather pillows. Everything else was standard Residence Inn. There were no hard boiled eggs for breakfast. And they didn’t have plastic utensils as I always grab my breakfast to go. Would I stay there again? Honestly NM has some of the worst Marriott properties in the entire Marriott portfolio. Yeah I probably would stay there again considering the choices. Definitely would after they do the refresh."
