a year ago"I stumbled upon this little Route 66 motel after doing some night photography nearby on the route. It was dark and cold, and I needed a place to stay for the night. The lobby was nice and warm, which felt great! I like staying at older mom and pop motels especially along Route 66, and this business fit the description well. I thought it was a bit odd paying a $20.00 cash deposit but I'm sure they had their reasons. The first room, the doorknob was janky and the heater wasn't working, and they switched me right away and said they'd fix the other room before renting again. This room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked. I appreciated that they thought of having USB chargers which was helpful with laptop and camera batteries, etc. I'd stay again."
