a month ago"We got a room for Christmas Eve along with breakfast for the next day at the Cafe. The room with a view was exquisite and the lunch at the takeout cafe, while a little pricey, was great as well. There was plenty of real estate to sit and enjoy the time, easy access to the Riverwalk, and restaurants were a short cab ride away. I would like to emphasize the food at the Riverside Cafe, it was phenomenal! The service was wonderful as well. The variety of food at the buffet was extensive and so tasty that I had to give compliments to the chef. Everything was very flavorful without being salty. Well done, bravo to all! Thank you for a memorable experience."

3 months ago"My wife and I took a long weekend to Chicago (from TX) not realizing it was the same weekend as the marathon. Our reserved king room was given away and night 1 was spent in a double-queen room. I assume a system deign to optimize capacity. The reason why this is a 5-star review is because what happened next was what made our weekend getaway so fabulous. Each team member did their part to get my wife and I into a room that exceeded our desires, provide complimentary meals and drinks, and gave extreme kindness along the way. My wife lost her earring in the hotel and the head of security was able to find and return. Those most deserving of our gratitude are Marquis (front desk) and Robert (Lost & Found). We’d highly recommend this hotel simply because of the courtesy and kindness given by the team."

3 months ago"Great location—just steps from the Riverwalk, the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier. Our room had a wonderful city view; a little dated, but very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, which is a big plus after a full day out and about. A good night’s sleep is everything for us, and this place delivered. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there’s a Shula’s Steakhouse right in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was $38 per person, so we skipped it and walked to a café across the street instead. Overall, a fantastic location with comfy beds. Would stay again."
