"Had a good experience here recently. The spot was easy to find and drive to, service excellent, and we were well settled within mins of our arrival. The hotel itself is in a great central spot, great for exploring downtown Chicago. It’s about a 25 min walk from the top attractions, so factor that into your plans especially in colder months (however that’s not a major concern if counting on public transportation to get around). Complimentary breakfast was also good to have (although options were rather limited). I did appreciate the parking valet service, made it convenient for sure, but do wish the process of getting keys/car back was a bit more efficient. Maybe something to work on for the future."

"great room. clean and fairly spacious. i came with one person and the room was more than enough. dont let the reviews sway you, service as of november 2025 is pretty good. free breakfast as well. only con is that for some reason the AC didn’t work well. definitely get a lake view room on a high floor, worth the extra."

"1 block from Michigan Ave, a few blocks to Water Tower and NW Hospital. Daily hot breakfast limited hours but had eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, juice, yogurt, cereal. Friendly staff kept all the food ready and kept the breakfast restaurant area all clean. Nice to have coffee/hot water always in the lobby. We had the 1 BR unit which had plenty of space but could use a chair or small couch in the bedroom. Full kitchen with refrigerator (get ice from lobby), stove, microwave, oven. But, need more dishes as only 3 plates, 3 forks etc so we had to run the dishwasher every time (using more dishwasher detergent and energy) to wash. Only 1 pot and pan which limited cooking but plenty of restaurants nearby so we didn't cook very much. Lobby double door would both open wide so the lobby and breakfast area were cold. The poor front desk employees were freezing and had space heaters on the counter. They should have a temporary plastic entrance during the winter or modify the doors so they are regular doors and not have both large sliding doors open wide every time someone walks in. Housekeeping is only a towel exchange every 3 days and a "full" clean every 5 days which sometimes meant they overlapped or were within a day of each other since we had an extended stay for weeks. No room safe."
