The property is stunning and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. I did experience one upsetting moment early on involving a misunderstanding with a security staff member, and for a moment I thought my stay might be ruined. However, Mrs. Griffin, (Front Desk Director- Mel Gee) and her front desk team completely turned things around. Her professionalism, kindness, and leadership were outstanding. She made me feel respected, supported, and truly welcomed. I also want to recognize Ramo in the Executive Lounge, along with Diamond and Max, who kept the garden fresh and hot food coming with great service and kindness. And a thank you also to The Housekeeping Team! They kept my room spotless, comfortable and peaceful during my entire stay. Despite the earlier hic-up, the staff overall delivered true hospitality-- and because of them, I will absolutely return on my next trip to St. Louis. patricia ann ford"

Staff are very kind even if too casual and on auto-pilot; All front desk staff offered similar, robotic, almost-scripted responses during all interactions. There seems be an huge communication gap between the front desk and all other departments, particularly with housekeeping. Probably a one-off at the end of a long, busy week for the staff, which they all mentioned more then once. But on this stay we received better guest service from the Hilton app--letting us know when our room was ready, providing a key, and statement at checkout--than we received from any individual in the front office. Again, everyone was extremely kind and the property is as expected for Curio."
