6 months ago"As a solo Black female traveler, I had a great experience at Stay 424. Im also a mom so wherever I go I'm always trying to be as safe as possible to get back to my babies in one piece lol. I felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed throughout my stay. The space was clean and well-maintained. The maintenance staff were warm and professional, which added to the overall positive vibe. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely amazing as well. I stayed in a top bunk, which was fine, but I do wish I had gotten a bottom bunk. They offered more privacy and looked much easier to get in and out of, especially when trying to move around quietly. Although I’d seen reviews mentioning noise, I didn’t experience anything excessive. Guests were respectful of shared spaces, and earplugs are provided just in case. For my first hostel experience, this set the bar high. I’d definitely recommend Stay 424 to other solo travelers looking for a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. 9/10."
